Shipping Policy

At XCARDHK, the safe and prompt delivery of your certified trading cards is our priority. Every order is packed with professional-grade materials to ensure your PSA or BGS graded card arrives in pristine condition.

1. Packaging Standards

We take packaging seriously — a damaged slab is unacceptable. Our packing protocol:

  • PSA & BGS graded slabs: Individually bubble-wrapped in foam padding, placed in a rigid acrylic slab protector, then housed in a double-walled corrugated box
  • Raw cards: Penny sleeve → top loader → team bag → bubble wrap → rigid cardboard mailer
  • Multiple cards: Each card packed individually; placed together in a padded box with dividers to prevent movement
  • High-value items (HKD $5,000+): Double-boxed with additional foam inserts and tamper-evident security tape
  • All parcels are sealed with XCARDHK branded security tape — if the seal is broken on receipt, please photograph and contact us immediately before opening further

Same-day dispatch is available for orders placed before 1:00 PM HKT on business days (Monday–Saturday, excluding public holidays).

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, parcel weight, and declared value. Orders over HKD $5,000 shipped internationally are automatically upgraded to DHL Express at no additional cost.

4. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after full payment is confirmed
  • Orders placed before 1:00 PM HKT on a business day are eligible for same-day dispatch
  • Orders placed on weekends or Hong Kong public holidays will be processed on the next business day
  • Pre-order items will be dispatched within the estimated window stated on the product listing; you will be notified by email if there is any delay
  • A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number will be sent once your order has been dispatched

5. Order Tracking

All shipments — local and international — include full tracking. Track your parcel directly via the carrier's website using the tracking number in your dispatch confirmation email:

If you experience any issues tracking your order, please contact us and we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

6. Shipment Insurance

  • All orders include basic carrier insurance coverage
  • Orders over HKD $3,000: Automatically insured for the full declared value at no extra charge
  • Orders over HKD $10,000: Shipped via DHL Express with full declared value insurance included
  • Orders over HKD $50,000: We will contact you prior to dispatch to arrange premium insurance and signature-required delivery

7. Customs & Import Duties

For international orders, please be aware of the following:

  • International buyers are solely responsible for any customs duties, taxes, VAT, or import fees levied by their country's customs authority
  • XCARDHK is required by law to declare items at their full purchase value on customs documentation — we cannot under-declare values
  • Customs clearance delays are outside our control and are not grounds for a refund or cancellation
  • If a parcel is refused by customs or the buyer and returned to us, a restocking fee of HKD $150 will be deducted from any refund, and return shipping costs are non-refundable

We recommend checking your country's import regulations for trading cards and collectibles before placing an order.

8. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, or arrives damaged:

  • Lost parcels: Contact us if your order has not been delivered within 7 days (HK) or 30 days (international) of the dispatch date — we will open an investigation with the carrier immediately
  • Damaged on arrival: Photograph the outer packaging and item before opening fully; contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos — do not discard any packaging
  • We will work with the carrier to process an insurance claim and arrange a replacement or full refund as appropriate
